Island Life

FullSizeRender 3One of my favorite things about living on an island, especially Maui, is the many different micro climates we have here. We live in Kihei on the south side, also known as the desert side of the island. So hot & dry days are a plenty. With that being said any chance we get to escape to cooler temps, we do! My good friend lives 25 minutes north in Waiehu & the temperature can be quite different! I always prepare with a big fluffy jumper (a sweater known to you Americans) And with it being our winter now, we can pretty much guarantee rain. We LOVE rain. And the precious thing is we can pretty much choose which weather we want when we want it. Lahaina is always hot, Haiku beautifully rainy and damp, Hana a mix of both but usually cooler & back home in Kihei the sun always shines 🙂

Here’s some snaps from my bezzie mate’s roof top terrace! It’s a tough life
